The company

R&D International NV is a company located in Landen (Belgium - Vlaams-Brabant) that specializes in control equipment for the light & video industry. A team of engineers develops state-of-the-art light controllers and media servers for Martin Professional A/S, the Danish market leader in lighting equipment. Our products have been used on many high profile tours (Sting, Christina Aguilera, etc), Eurovision song contest (Athens 2006), and so on.

We are looking for

• Software developers (bachelor degree or better): you will participate in the design, development, testing of features and integrate them into our products. You're familiar with C++ and/or C# (.NET framework); knowledge of SQL and XML is a plus. Our products target the Windows XP Embedded and Windows CE platforms. You have experience with intuitive GUI development, network/distributed processing development and/or high-performance (time critical), high-complexity business logic development.

• Electronics engineer (bachelor degree or better): you will assist in designing, prototyping, testing and servicing PCBs; you will also assist in the assembly of some of our products and technical servicing.

• FPGA programmer: you will participate in the design, development and testing of Field Programmable Arrays used for high performance video applications ranging from low-res applications to high-definition video. You have experience in creating time-critical VHDL applications and you are a team-player as the FPGA is the center part of the PCB design made by a team of engineers.

• Test & support engineer: together with the electronics, software and deployment engineers, you create, maintain and execute test plans for newly developed products and features, you assist in creating user manuals, you provide support to our customers (possibly on location worldwide), you create and maintain a support knowledge base and you plan and maintain our demo/training/testing facility. Familiarity with light and video products, as well as the customers in this industry, is a definite plus.

• Product technician: you assemble some of our products, you provide technical servicing for our products and you assist in maintaining our demo/training/testing facility. You have experience with PC technologies and electronics troubleshooting.

• You communicate in fluent English, Dutch is a plus

• You're flexible; you enjoy team work but can also work independently
